You lead me in Your path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; and in Your right hand are pleasures evermore. Psalm 16:11

Dear Friends,

We are excited to launch our brand new website!  https://www.comerestministries.com/

Check it out. Look around. Send link to friends to introduce Come Rest. Use the site. Make prayer requests and pray for the ones we publish! Put the home page as an icon on your home screen of your phone or laptop. Check in regularly on Updates section for our writings, new videos, and events schedule. Buy books for yourself and friends. We’ll ship free for the prices published. Make donations and be blessed as sower. Stay in the loop as a friend of Come Rest, for you carry His Great Invitation every much as Kim and I. Enjoy the website. Please be patient. ChurchCo advises us there may be kinks to work out, especially in the first days after launch. It’s still a work in progress. So am I. You, too? 😊

We are so grateful for all the volunteers who helped us with the various iterations of Come Rest websites over the years. Thank You Jesus! Yet, for the first time in 17 years, “low-tech” me is trained and able to manage a site that can now help us be more interactive with the friends of Come Rest and beyond. You really can teach an old dog to do new tricks!

That’s why we decided to make a moderate monthly commitment to the fine folks at ChurchCo to provide us initial site development and ongoing online support via emails. Yet, at first it seemed I bit off more than I could chew! To those of you who are tech savvy, this wouldn’t be a big deal, but it was to me. I asked Him to help me in my inadequacy and double checked with Him if He wanted us to have a website. His peace and green light proceeded. So did we.

Then two dear brothers and fellow Shepherds, Travis Kolder and Christian Shields, stepped in to sacrificially assist and encourage me over the last year. Christian helped with crucial transition steps from our old website(the one he so expertly created nine years ago and graciously oversaw for several years). Then Travis came alongside me these last several months to patiently and enthusiastically help me get over the hump—for me to learn to be the site administrator and really build into it what Kim and I wanted. I can now confidently envision additions and modifications we will make over time. Talk about servant leadership in a band of brothers. They weren’t looking for thanks, they were looking out for us. Thank you Travis and Christian! Thank you Jesus!  I certainly do still need your prayers in this new website experiment which will help us more broadly and deeply fulfill His mandate, first given to us in 2002, “You will tell the earth, ‘Come rest in My love.”
