Dear friends near and far,
Not surprisingly, Psalm 23 has bubbled up within our souls repeatedly this week. Yes, He’s been bringing it up for others we’ve been relating to in our ministry. But we’re holding onto Him, diving into His heart afresh, through Psalm 23 FOR OURSELVES. Our Shepherd is giving us a fresh start after a month of flu and recovery. Thank You Jesus!
Do you need His refreshment, RESToration? I’m so grateful 45 years ago my bishop challenged a bunch of us young preachers to memorize Psalm 23. I did so immediately. Ever since when my Shepherd knows I need it most OR others need it through me; He’s bubbled up HIS Psalm 23 within. Then I’ve learned to always pray it aloud, immediately. If you’ve never memorized Psalm 23 before, do it immediately. Immediately He will begin bringing it to your mind. When He does, immediately pray it aloud. Immeasurable comfort will ensue.
